For over 40 years, Ahmad Zarei has built Delta Engineering on a single principle: engineering precision that performs when it matters most.

With a Master's in Structural Engineering from San Diego State and decades of project leadership across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors, Ahmad has established Delta Engineering as one of Southern California's most trusted structural engineering practices, known for work so detailed it reads like shop drawings from day one.

Based in Del Mar, California, Delta Engineering provides comprehensive structural engineering services to clients throughout the United States. We deliver structural design for commercial, industrial, educational, and governmental facilities, as well as high-end custom residences. We are licensed in 14 states, Washington D.C., and British Columbia.

Our approach treats every set of plans as if it were a shop drawing. That has earned us a reputation for minimizing RFIs, reducing field errors, and keeping projects on schedule.

Delta Engineering is also a selected consultant to the Division of the State Architect, serving as structural plan-review checker for the San Diego regional office, helping educational projects navigate the approval process with confidence.
